Louveteaux
Louveteau/louvette (cub): boy and girl Scouts aged between 8 and 12.
Meute (pack): name given to a section composed of the Louveteaux of a unit.
In Cub Scouts, children experiment life in a community and develop their relationships with their fellows. They take on responsibilities that are appropriate for their age, they learn to share, cooperate and listen.
The Cubs live in the world of Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book. They readily identify with the characters, especially Mowgli and just like him, they learn to live in a community.
